Sleep is for the fannishly weak

It's 3:30 in the morning and I'm watching Doctor Who. What's wrong with this picture?
Well, absolutely nothing now that I've been introduced to Captain Jack.
Ah well. I have all weekend to sleep. You know, after I make my way through Doctor Who and Torchwood.
Oh, and those of you who are Americans who watch...is it normal to start thinking in a British accent after mainlining episodes??

on 2007-03-22 02:58 pm (UTC)I can totally manage on minimal sleep. I only need a small portion of my brain for the projects I'm on at work anyway.
!!Maybe this explains why I had tea the other morning from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf instead of my normal vanilla latte!!
Okay, so I may have been running through a fandom list for slashability with Captain Jack mentally. *hee*

on 2007-03-22 03:12 pm (UTC)It also helps that the first season of Doctor Who, while it certainly has some very serious moments, has such a sense of "glee" about it, and the cheeky Captain Jack fits in so well.
Just don't get too accustomed to the cheek. In Torchwood, Jack's much more emo, but he has reason(s) to be.

Pretty much every character you can think of works, don't they? *g* And with Captain Jack having the time travel thing on his side, it makes it easy to slash him anytime, anywhere, with anyone.
