NCIS:LA and other stuff

I'm home from the sneak previews. I'll be doing a mini-write up for NCIS:LA tomorrow for the new Dear NCIS site. I'm drugging up on Ny-Quil for the night and going to sleep.

Did want to say that I *really* enjoyed "The Good Wife". Great writing and Julianna Marguilise (sp?) did a great job.

They also showed an episode of "Medium" and one of the new Jenna Elfman comedy which was shown last and I can't remember the name of it. That should give you an idea of my thoughts on the comedy.

There were a lot of "Moonlight" fans there because they were supposed to screen the first episode of "Three Rivers". They ended up not showing it and I felt bad for the fans.

I went with a friend from work. She has a lot of the same tastes that I do and I was curious to see the reactions of someone who isn't involved with media fandom in any way shape or form. We had many of the same thoughts about the shows, including NCIS:LA. (She's a huge LL Cool J fan though and said there should be shirtless LL...I concur.)

I'll get into specifics about thoughts tomorrow (probably a bit vague on plot) but overall I gave it about 3 1/2 stars.

Anyway, I'm off to bed to try and sleep off at least part of my cold.
