The stupid burns bright in this one.
Aug. 16th, 2009 02:12 pmSo apparently some numbskull is taking NCIS fan fiction, compiling them and then selling them on Amazon.
Some of the books are priced at around $62. ???? Okay, I love you guys...but even for my favorite fic authors I'm not paying that kind of money. Much less for something where people's work was stolen off the net and published without their permission.
The fact that the idiot put her actual name (I'm assuming it's not a pseudonym) on one of the volumes is somewhat hysterical.

on 2009-08-16 09:21 pm (UTC)And the story you can see when you click on to look at it? Is Breaking the Chains by Gracie (Squige.org is down right now, but it can be found on wwomb)
And the whole legality issue of NCIS is a copyrighted television show and no one authorized these stories... the stupidity is mind boggling.
eta- what's weird is the paperback link leads to volume 2
