webbgirlJust a heads up that I have scrambled eggs for brains lately, so I'm going to apologize for any ramblyness in advance.
I've been thinking about the end scene from Monday's H50 and thought I'd share my thoughts here.
So my slashy little brain has already chosen to interpret the look on Steve's face in the hospital (when he sees Danny and Rachel together) as pure jealousy and WTF?
I was re-watching the end scene with the hug and when Steve asks Danny when he was going to tell him about Rachel, Danny responds with "We have become very close"...I've seen a lot of folks interpreting that as Danny talking about himself and Rachel. I think he's actually talking about him and Steve based on the hand gesture between them. I don't just think that's my slash brain talking either.
After that is when Steve says "One near death experience and you go all warm and cuddly on me?" Then the awesome hug.
So anyone else see this?? I also wonder how much of that stuff was ad libbed. Scott talked about the fact that most of carguments and the "babe" stuff was ad libbed by the two of them. I really think that Scott and Alex are bringing the majority of the bromance to the show themselves.

on 2011-05-11 06:13 pm (UTC)On the other hand, if it's just a thawing of the ice and they're not back together, I can believe that a lot more. Just from a narrative Danny-character point of view. Obviously, it makes my slashers life easier if Danny is free to jump Steve at every turn. :)
