It may be the lousy headspace talking, but if I see one more person refer to tattoos (Alex O'Loughlin's or anyone else's) as "gross" I'm going to lose it.  I get that not everyone like's tattoos, but referring to something that is essentially a form of self-expression and an extension of someone as "gross" is really getting on my nerves.

(The words are a part of the pic.) I find tattoos attractive, (although I don't think I'd want them on my face, as some people do (I have enough trouble with my face.)) but I never consider tattoos gross. They are art. My art is very meaningful to me and is hidden (back upper left shoulder) because they are private to me and visible when I am with others who know their story. I find people's reasons for having tattoos interesting and unique.

Grow up, other people. OK?

I'm endlessly fascinated by the stories behind people's tattoos. Always have been. I always want to know why or when or how the choices were made.

I know there's still a stigma that exists around them though.
