Quick post to share a couple of awesome things.

First...If you're an NCIS fan (and even if you're not) go read Soul Deep by [community profile] xanthestories. It's Gibbs/DiNozzo and an amazing fic. She should be posting the last part eeeaarly tomorrow morning. (I blame her for my current lack of sleep, but totally worth it.)

The second awesome thing is a commission that I got from [personal profile] silvertales . It's Tim/Kon and it's wonderful. I love it sooo much. I just had to share with everyone. I'm planning on doing some icons and possibly a header for my journal with the pic. :)

Here's a low-res version of it...

I *love* the excited look on Conner's face. You can just see that he wants to jump any second.

I have a plot-bunny for this as well as one that I'm currently working on that's Tony DiNozzo and Dick Grayson.  It was sparked when I stumbled across the fact that one of Dick's old aliases was Freddie Dinardo.

Yay, commission!

But really I'm commenting to LOL over Dick's old alias. *grins* That's just a sign. You can't not write a crossover when that kind of odd coincidence is handed to you!

No pressure intended, but does this mean that the NCIS/GL crossover is fading?

I think my brain feels slightly less pressure with this set up. I think because it's more of a mundane story where the guy Tony meets just happens to wear spandex at night and hang out with superpowered folks on occasion.

*nods* I totally hear this. Adventure type plots have this need to move forward in a coherent and measureable way, and it's easy to get stressed out by feeling behind.

I think it may actually help get my head into writing the DCU a bit better.

Makes sense to me! Plus having more than one project means you can work on one or the other depending on what you're in the mood for, instead of feeling you HAVE to write such-and-such, and then not writing at all because you aren't in the right mental place.

Plus there are so many similarities with Dick and Tony that I can't not do it.

Oh, it should definitely be done. *g* I ask only so that I may adjust my anticipations. :-D
