Tonight's NCIS
Mar. 29th, 2005 09:09 pmOkay, the plot was weak. I figured out that the killer was a surfer as soon as Jimmy found the parafin in her hair.
On the fun side...
Could Jimmy want Ducky any more? Talk about your hero worship. I'm pretty sure he was ready to jump Duck's bones.
Kate seriously needs to loosen up. I know plenty of folks who talk about how much they spent on an article of clothing. Including guys. Also, she's quite a bit on the hypocritical side. Tony is out there with his wild side, but she acts like she's so controlled and prim and proper. Then she ends up ogling the water polo players (btw, those guys looked a bit on the bulky side for water polo players) and turning up on a wet t-shirt wall. I don't really dislike Kate overall, but I call hypocrite and liar.
Tony...yeah, he's a pig. But he's Gibbs' pretty pig. (Why did that sound many ways of wrong?)
I love the little smile Gibbs gets on his face when Tony is being...well...Tony. Y'know kind of a putz? Gibbs looks like he's trying to keep himself from kissing Tony.
What's the deal with Abby and McGee? Is she still pissed over the whole Winnie Cooper incident? (I can't remember the ep name.) Or is there something else going on? She was pretty damned snippy with him.

on 2005-03-30 03:51 pm (UTC)Yep, Kate's a big hypocrite. Don't know why she doesn't want Tony to know she cut loose on spring break. It's spring break, that's what you're supposed to do. It wasn't like Tony was talking about going wild at the next NCIS convention.
Hee! Pretty pig.
Now whenever I see Gibbs smile I'm going to think he wants to kiss Tony.
I don't know what's up with Abby and McGee.

on 2005-03-30 07:33 pm (UTC)I get amused when Ducky and Gibbs start sharing "training tips" about their boys. ;)

I was talking about this in someone else's LJ comments. It seems like there's not any consistency from week to week with the characters. One week, Tony's on the job. The next, he's a putz. Same with Abby and McGee -- their status changes from week to week, without notice.
But maybe she was snippy because she found out about his night on the town with Gibbs and Tony? ;)
Oh, and "man crush"? Ded onna floor over that one.

on 2005-03-30 08:00 pm (UTC)I also wonder what kind of 'hazing' Gibbs would put Tony and McGee through.

on 2005-03-31 01:53 am (UTC)A few guys... a dateless Friday night... things happen.

If nothing else, that line is certain to inspire lots of fic. :)
