webbgirlI know fandom isn't the most mentally or emotionally stable group at times. (Seriously people, you know that I'm right.) Recently though it's seemed to have gone to a whole new level of batshit.
There's one fandom with folks in angry denial about a temporary character that they've just met and who by all accounts won't be around for long. Then there's the other fandom list that has completely gone middle school with talk of cliques and hate mail and whining about pairings and people talking about the show instead of posting fics. WTF people???
Everyone needs to take about 10 deep breaths, step back and realize that this is a form of entertainment.

on 2008-06-05 01:05 am (UTC)i have no clue which ones you are referring to (i might know what the first one is actually) but it sounds like a blast. i just love to sit back and laugh at.
ps. i havent watched silence in the library yet so...yeah im trying to avoid all talk of it and dont even really know whats going on. but i can only imagine. hahah
