I belive that my squee has been broken and burnt out.

There's an early review of Torchwood Season 2 Episode 1 here.   Clearly there are spoilers there.  More behind the cut and in the comments.

So not only do we get Jack fighting and making out with JM's character, but we get UNDENIABLE CANON JACK/IANTO and the stopwatch!!!!  I...I feel as though I may weep for joy at this point.  It's like a culmination of all my fangirl dreams.

From reading the review, it seems like the Torchwood PTB took a hard look at season 1 and actually listened to what the fans had to say and then tweaked and fixed.  I just...where do I build the shrine(s)?

Anyone have a TARDIS available to get me to January faster??  I'm willing to skip Christmas.  (Becc and Nix, if you're reading this, not really. *g*)

I have to say that the first few eps of season one created less squee in me than I'd been expecting, based on all the squee on my f-list, but by Captain Jack Harkness I was swooning with y'all. And the sweet kiss Jack shared with Ianto in the finale, well, it might have been rewound and replayed *coff* several times. *g* I have already marked the beginning of season 2 in my "fandom calendar" and after reading that review, I'm looking forward to it even more.
