webbgirl: (WTF?)

I know that there are some truly lame advertisements out there.  There are also some damned funny ones (which generally crop up around late January for the Super Bowl rarely to be seen again).

Then there are advertisements that make you go WTF???

There is a billboard at Sunset and Laurel Canyon in Hollywood (prime billboard real estate) that made me go O_o.

I'll try and snap a pic tonight on the way home, but essentially it's a black and white drawing of a guy (looks like a guy...I guess) in a gorilla suit (though it might be a teddy bear suit, that's up for debate) pouring water on someone in a Panda suit.

There's a label in the upper right hand corner of the Perrier branding, but instead of saying "Perrier" it says "Kinkier".  My first thought was that the Furry contingent has started advertising on billboards.

There's a url on the bottom of the billboard "showmekinkier.com".  Obviously I'm not typing that into my browser at work, but from what I've seen online it goes to an obnoxious site run by Perrier.  (This may or may not be true, so venture at your own risk.)  I'm just thinking they must have an interesting marketing department there.

Disclaimer To LJ/6A...Please notice that I did not actually link to the url in question.  I am not supporting, condoning or even linking to any questionable content.  I'm sure the gorilla and panda are both over 18. Please put your ToSing club away.  There is nothing to see here.
