Things to be happy about.

I'm almost done with the freakin' shawl that I've been knitting for what seems like forever now.

I ordered pretty yarn off of eBay so I can start another project that will seem like forever.

24 days from now I will be in Canada!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

17 days from now Season 5 of L&O should be on my doorstep.

38 days from now Season 3 of NCIS should be on my doorstep.

Two of my three projects at work are moving along as they should. (Since I'm acting as Project Manager on all of them I get massive brownie points to go with my raise that starts next week.)

New Black Donnellys tonight.

I finally have time to watch some Doctor Who.

I'm doing pretty well on my Gibbs/DiNozzo Creative-a-thon thingy.

Is that the shawl you were knitting at Escapade? *g* Because I keep meaning to ask you for that pattern. I really loved the look of it.

Here is the pattern for the shawl. It's ridiculously easy. Just a garter stitch that you cut after each row. The only reason it's taking so long is that I just keep setting it down to work on other things. I added 30 stitches onto the pattern because I wanted a little more width on it. The key is using a fine yarn with a bulkier one. I really like the Kidsilk Haze for it.

I really do want to see more of Canada at some point (since I've only been to British Columbia). I've made a resolution that I'm going to travel more, even if they're shorter trips. I'll add your end of the country to the ever growing list of places I've been told that I have to visit. *g*
