Rambling and feeling utterly inadequate...

I just finished reading Room 11 by Pepe.

I generally have one of two reactions when I finish reading a fic that I love so much. 

1) Wow.  That was incredible.  I really need to work on (at least) one of my stories. 

2) Wow.  That was incredible.  I'm a complete hack and couldn't write a Post-It note.

After reading Pepe's stories...#2 really applies.  Just completely GUH!!

Re: your #2 comment -- yeah... I totally get that. I have that with a lot of the writers that I think are certified goddesses (Pepe included). My suggestion -- go find some really, really bad fic, then write, write, write. Oh, and don't reread Pepe (or any other amazing author) again until after you post.

Pepe makes me feel like a kindergartener.
And I really hate/love that.
Room 11 amazed me and that's really rare. Yeah, it's not the transcendant, soul searing style of Salieri, or the lean, down to earth style of Anna S. Pepe has a style all her own.
Some say she has the guys talking too much during sex.
I don't know, I sorta like some of it.
But all that aside? No one makes me hotter.
Well, maybe the man does, but no 'writer' does.
