Random-y Stuff

So a bit of catching up and a bit of a list for myself, if nothing else.

1. Start with the sad, no new "Once Upon A Time" tonight. What's the deal with these music awards shows screwing up my viewing?
2. It's dumping down rain in buckets here in L.A. I went out to grab some Starbucks and lunch (yummy Cajun food...NOM). I sat around pondering whether to go out in the rain or not, and then I started laughing because when I'm in Vancouver or Seattle, it's never even a question. Well, I figured out one of the reasons it's such a big deal here, WE'RE NOT BUILT FOR RAIN! Seriously. Everything is flooded and there aren't convenient overhangs on buildings and such. The amount of drenched that I was by the time I got home cannot be overstated. (The Starbucks and food survived though.)
3. I've decided that I'm more or less skipping Thanksgiving this year. I'm working from home Monday through Wed and then have the rest of the week off. I've decided to just hang around the house and area and maybe catch a movie or two. I do have a list of stuff that I'd like to at least get a start on, if not finished this week though...
   1. Finish reading the "Hunger Games" series.  I'm a good way through the second book, so I'd like to polish it off this week.
   2. Level my Pally "Nytewyng" in WoW to at least 75.  He's 64 now.  This shouldn't be an issue if I spend time doing quests with him.
   3. Work on doing some post on several of my photos.  I have some ideas of some manips and clean up I'd like to do in Photoshop.  It's just a matter of doing it.
   4. Write something.  Anything.  Really, ANYTHING.
   5. Watch some DVDs and/or Blu-Rays. I know, watching stuff should be a no-brainer, but it's amazing how much of the time I just end up with "I Love Lucy" playing in the background.
   6. Knitting.  Lots of knitting.  This can be accomplished with #5 but not so much with the others (possibly #1 depending on how simple the project is).  I have 4 or 5 things in progress right now.  I'd like to finish at least 3 of them.  Not completely unreasonable.
4. New H50 tomorrow night!!  I may end up re-watching last week's and the week before for some "inspiration". :)
5. There may also be vague attempts at cleaning and laundry involved as well.
