I feel a bit old
May. 1st, 2011 01:51 pmSo I'm finally watching last night's Doctor Who episode (no spoilers here yet as I'm mid episode) and I was trying to figure out when it was that I first noticed Mark Sheppard as an actor. I knew that it was before BSG or Firefly, but I couldn't quite remember what from. Then I hit up IMDB. Back in the late 90's there was a syndicated show (when they were all the rage) called "Soldier of Fortune, Inc.". Sort of like "The Unit" meets "The A-Team" international-style. I LOVED that show. It hit all the buttons for me. Hot guys who carried guns, blew stuff up. A strong (if somewhat stereotyped) woman, wonderfully played by Melinda Clarke (post-Xena, pre-Firefly/Lady Heather).
Did anyone else ever watch this show? It only lasted a couple of seasons or so. The original lead left after the first season (I think it ran on a 12 episode season).
