So I've been outbid on the Geoff Johns lunch.  I could potentially raise the bid and trim back on any other purchases as well as doing cheap food etc... while there.  I've decided though that I'm not going to though.  I know that it's probably going to go up by some insane amount by the time it closes on Wednesday.

So while I'm disappointed, I'm focusing on the fact that I can now afford to get some artwork and will be able to go to the "TBBT" panel.  I love that Wil Wheaton is the moderator.  It should be awesome.  I'll also get to see Geoff at several panels and I'm sure he's doing an autograph session so I will have ample stalking er...viewing time.

In other news, I came close to having to go to the hospital today and potentially missing Comic Con altogether.  Note to self: SEVERELY allergic to Corner Bakery chicken salad sandwich!  I had one small piece of chicken and my tongue went all tingly and my breathing eventually became somewhat problematic.  Luckily I had antihistamines with me and only ate a small bit.  I'm doing much better, but my chest and throat are still a bit raw.

Anyway, I'm off to bed.  Tomorrow I head down to San Diego for fun times!!  YAAAAYYYYY!!!!!

As disappointing as it is, probably the wisest choice. The con will be more fun as a whole if you aren't pinching pennies, I think. Still, *hugs*.

So true! I'm going to keep an eye on it just to see how high it goes. If it's this high more than a day before auction closing, the last minute bidding is going to be impressive. And if it goes way out of your price range, I suspect not winning will feel more inevitable, which is oddly comforting.

The TBBT panel conflicts with spotlight on Tanya Huff. I am torn. :-O

Eeeep! Thank goodness you had the antihistamines on you. *pats you gently to make sure you're all okay* Do you know what it was in the sandwich that you reacted to?

27 hours, 35 minutes till our plane lands! (OMG, the stuff I have to do at work. *kicks self for not doing it already*)

Holy cow! That's quite a reaction. Do you know what was in it that you are severely allergic to?

Have fun at Comic Con!!

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DIE BEFORE THE CON. Or, uh afterward. BUT STILL.

(And I'm sorry about the auction. Next time!)

OMG. @_@ Any idea what ingredient you were allergic to?? With a reaction that bad... it'd be good to know for future reference.. or carry an epi pen with you?

(and auction... damn. =\ Though now my BBT panel is in doubt thanks to Marvel programming at their booth)
