Fair warning that this will be somewhat pic intensive. Anyone on dial-up is going to want to skip.
So I had an awesome weekend with
tartary_lamb in Vancouver. Thought I'd share a pictorial of the weekend.
I got up there late Friday night and we spend t time hanging out and chatting for the evening.
On Saturday we headed out, had some breakfast and then walked down to the beach:

The weather was AMAZING the entire time I was there. Extremely clear blue skies and the temps were just perfect.

After the walk and the beach, we headed downtown and wandered around a bit before heading over to the movie theater. The plan was to meet up with
angstbunny to see Star Trek yet again. She wasn't going to be able to make it until later, so we decided to watch another movie while waiting...

BAD DAN BROWN! BAD RON HOWARD! NO BISCUIT!!!
So after making our way through the atrocity that was Angels and Demons we decided on food.

The food and drinks were yummy and
angstbunny joined us just in time to head over to...

Is 5 times too many to see a movie? I really don't think so. Not when it still makes me squee. And was able to bannish the previous movie from my brain.
Plus, on the 5th viewing I was able to spend time pondering ZQ's eyebrows and how they must have had to do quite the maintenance during shooting to try and keep continuity. Then I started pondering all of the other actors playing Vulcans and wondering if they had to get their eyebrows fully Brazillianed like ZQ. What? The 5th time was all about the pretty for me!
Anyway, after the movie we headed to Starbucks for a 'few minutes' and ended up being there for about 3 or 4 hours chatting fandomy things and such.
Sunday
tartary_lamb had to pack and I was there for moral support. In return for my moral support I got to see...

Good times my friends. Good times.
Later in the day we decided to head back down to the movie theater. (I am now intimately acquainted with the Canadian movie theater.)
This time we saw...

The viewing consisted of me restraining myself from yelling, "THAT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE TO CANON!!!! WHAT THE HELL.",
tartary_lamb patting me on the arm and then me going "Oooo Pretty!". Rinse. Repeat.
We then went for food and drinks.

Did I mention that I became somewhat familiar with Earl's on this trip as well?
We then headed back to
tartary_lamb's place. She had to work the next day so we made it a somewhat earlier night.
On Monday I went off exploring on my own and did one of the hop on, hop off bus tours.
Took a few more pics, but most have the big shadowy dot because of a spot on the lense of my camera.
Wished I could have stayed longer and that I didn't have to come back to L.A. Sadly, either my work or Canadian Immigration would have hunted me down.
