I'm 20 minutes in and wondering how the heck everyone else survived the episode without exploding from the pure SQUEE!!!!

I want eleventy bajillion quote icons from this episode. NOW!

ETA: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! My orgy smorgasboard of pairings of a show is back!!!!!!

The whole Jimmy and Tony scene was BEYOND AWESOME. I love that they were meeting while Gibbs was in Mexico.

I know I'm not even finished watching the episode yet but WHERE'S THE FIC?????

He talked a lot! I mean, throwing out the movie synopsis and talking about his two ex-wives.

And he flashed the camera flash in Tony's and McGee's faces!

I think he was having fun. It must have been a welcome change to let someone else take charge and the fact that it was Tony probably made him relax even more because he knows Tony's a good investigator.

I loved, loved, loved when McGee and Ziva were sort of making fun of how full of himself Tony was in the interrogation, how Gibbs said "ah, he deserves it." And how he bet which interrogation technique Tony was going to use, and was right!

And how he went to sit in the campfire, didn't say anything, but chuckled when it was over.

LOVED this episode.

And Tony said, "Gibbs..... good campfire." :)

Gibbs never got to go to one of Tony's campfires before.

I still wonder... if Vance had been in this episode, would he have believed his eyes? Gibbs, letting Tony lead, taking orders from Tony? Or would he just shake his head and pretend none of it was happening?

Gibbs witnessed a campfire, in Escaped; he just didn't participate. Not that he really participated in this one.

I think Vance would have been surprised that Gibbs let go of the reins, but would have approved letting Tony fix his (and his team's - I'm going to harp on that) mistake.

I like that Tony took responsibility and didn't point fingers at the other two, even though he had a right to say something.
