Some stuff about Sims 2 Seasons

webbgirlI guess I'll put this behind a cut for those who want to be surprised in the game.
So there are some cool new objects and interactions in the game.
You can do gardening and grow fruits and vegetables. Once the garden is planted, you can invite over the Garden Club to see if they like you enough to join. You get discounts on supplies and if they really like you, you get a wishing well. With the wishing well, if the Sim's aspiration score is high enough they can wish for love, money or friends. It's kind of awesome.
With the fruits and vegetables you can make new foods and juices. The various juices have different properties. (I'm hunting down a list of those now.)
In the winter they can build snowmen and have snowball fights. Also? No matter what season it is, penguins can randomly show up on the lot. (Someone from SGA fandom has clearly gone to work for EA Games.)
Oh, and if the Sim spends too much time spraying the plants or trees for bugs, they can turn into a PlantSim. It's kind of cool looking from the screen shots I've seen. Apparently they can even reproduce asexually. I guess in a game where Mpreg and ass babies are already the norm, that's not too much of a stretch.
There are weather dangers for the Sims too. They can die from heat exposure, cold exposure, hail storms and lightening. It's a dangerous world out there.
