Why the hell are the worst of the fan fiction writers the most prolific? I can hunt and hunt for days for a decent fic with a particular pairing that's done well, but there will be droves of them by the same crappy author. UGH.

Oh, and on a semi but not really related note-There's a custom made computer that you can download for your Sims into Sims 2. Well, evidently someone made a hacked version and a couple of little changes. Instead of the option to Write a Novel, it has the option to Write Fan Fic. Yeah, like that one's not going into all of my houses now!

The simple answer is they have no concept of a beta read. They scribble something out, and since it's The Greatest Thing Evah and if you complain about silly things like spelling or coherent storytelling, you're just a big ole poopyhead cuz their story is brill without all that stuff.

I got on a kick yesterday to find some good Lost slash. I have a yen for some Jack/Boone, after reading a fic with that pairing. Didn't have much luck. :(

And if I had the new Sims computer, I can just see me giggling every time Daniel gets on the computer to write fanfic. Hey, maybe someone can do another hack to make it say "write slash fic" and then we'll be set. :)

I know, I know, it's just soooo...grrr when you're looking for fanfic and all you stumble accross is...bleh!

I love having the guys write fanfic! It does make me giggle. I'll have to check around for the whole slash one, but it pretty much goes without saying with my guys.

Especially when you're like me, and get bored and want somthing to read, and everything you find is utter crap. Very frustrating.

I so wish I had the capacity to run Sims 2. I'm stuck with stone-age Sims, who play that same freaking car race game on their computers all day long. No wonder they get bored and start having illicit romances with the neighbours.
