[Poll #1128906[profile] jesshelga had mentioned over in her LJ having a discussion about the merits of various holiday candy groupings and which one is the best.  I feel there should be some sort of points system assigned to each candy, but I was curious what other folks think.

In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that my personal fave is Easter/Spring.  Chocolate bunnies, creme/caramel eggs *and* robin's eggs? How could you not love that?  (I do feel there should be some sort of penalty on the holiday though for the sheer existence of Peeps. ::shudder::)

Feel free to leave comments on your preferences.  I'll assume that folks will play nice and not start any 'candy wars' here. *g*  (Unless it's about Peeps.  Seriously!  How do people eat those?)

What! Peeps are sugar coated sugar in cute shapes and colors! What's wrong with that?

:p

Easter

Peeps - definitely.

Still the Easter ones though, the originals, because I just can't get into other seasonable Peeps.

Plus malted milk "Robins Eggs". I love malted milk balls.

Peeps RULE!

Although, I do have a certain fondness for these weird orange, marshmallow, chocolate covered pumpkins at Halloween.

Hee, candy wars! Now that's the kind of war I could get into, flinging chocolate all about, having to stop and eat some... *g*

I chose Easter/Spring as well because, really, do any of the other holidays have really special candies? Okay, Halloween has candy corn, but mostly it's just the same old stuff in different shapes with holiday wrapping. But Easter candy is its own candy genre. *g*
