Hello to my flist...and anyone else

Hi gang...

There's nothing new to report on the moving front, except the fact that I'm one big ball of stress right now. Unfortunately, when I get stressed, I also get depressed. (The only upside of that is my Angst!Muses come out of the woodwork when I'm depressed.)

The whole depression thing isn't helped by the fact that I'm not able to go to Moonridge. The weekend was really going to be even more of a spiritual thing than just the fangirliness of meeting GM and possibly RB. There's something 'soul-nourishing' for me about being in the mountains. Especially Big Bear and the San Gabriel Mountains. *sigh* Unfortunately, I'm just having to accept that it's not going to happen and move on.

The benefit out of that is that I get to go to Comicon. Come Hell, Highwater or Burly movers...I'm going. Still keeping all of my appendages crossed about the rumor of RDA showing up. I'm even excited about seeing the Atlantis cast now that I've seen the premiere. I suppose I should do a write up for the premiere. That will probably have to wait until I get a few more things packed though.

Maybe we can plan some non-celeb-related trip up the mountain? I usually visit Moonridge a couple of times a year in addition to "celeb day" and I've certainly discovered over and over again that Nomads make great companions.

EEP! Yeah - I think there's something "transformational" in the stars right now. Hang on to a teddy bear and try to enjoy the ride.

Re: Moonridge - they have some other fun fundraiser days coming up... music at the Zoo and an ice-cream social... I'll keep you posted.

Just found out that the place I was really wanting isn't available until December now. The old roommate is staying until then. The owner would still like to talk to me about moving in then though. I'd say that this day couldn't get any worse, but I'm scared to.

Okay this is going to be like really short and un-meaningful but see, I just woke up after four hours of sleep and my brain still believes it's sleeping so :
