It's been a long time...
Jul. 5th, 2004 04:55 pmI've been so busy with work I didn't realize how long it's been since I posted here. I was kind of waiting until I had some brilliant bits of wisdom to post...clearly that's not happening anytime soon so you get this post instead.
I wasn't sure how I would feel with the impending Season Premier for SG-1, but I find myself a bit excited and giddy. And, dare I say it, hopeful. I'm even a little optimistic about Atlantis. I've seen various folks posting that they plan on avoiding negativity and spoilers in general. I have to say that I'm liking that idea very much. I'd rather watch this season untainted by other folks perception of 'too much ship' or 'too much Sam'. I'd rather watch, enjoy and make any mental adjustments necesarry for myself. After years of watching Stargate and JAG, I'm more than capable of mentally 'adjusting' or 'ignoring' the stuff I don't like. Plus I have Steve Bacic and Collin Cunningham to look forward to over the next couple of weeks onscreen.
Then there's the 'in-person' squeeing. Less than a week until I get to ogle CJ, MS, Carmen A., Tony A. and worship at the feet of Jonathan Glassner. I'm excited to say the least. I'm going to make a concerted effort to take pics this time. Of course, that means that I have to stay somewhat sober and in control of my faculties.
