One month from today, I will be in Atlanta hanging out with
skripka. YAAAY. Yes, I have yet another countdown starting.
So, Doctor Who question with spoilerish ponderings for the end ofSeason Series 3.
As a newbie to Who, I've had to pick around and find information on the history, so I'm sure there are parts that I'm missing. One of those pieces is about The Master. I've been picking around the 'net and gathering what info I can find, but it brings up a couple of questions.
I know that one of the rumors floating about is that Mr. Saxon will actually be the Master. This has been fed by The Face of Bo(e?)'s statement at the end of "Gridlock" about The Doctor not being alone. My question is, does this mean that the end of this season could be a jump off for us to finally learn more about the Time War next season? I'm just wondering how that fits in with everything. Through the last three seasons we've been given consistent reminders that The Doctor lost all of his people in the Time War, but we don't know all that much about the war beyond that. (Unless there are chunks of dialogue that I somehow missed. Don't worry though, I'm currently starting a rewatch of all eps. *g*)
On a side note, I wonder how the final eps of the season will feed into the story of "Jack's" past. Not just the time that he spent on Earth after escaping the Satellite, but his actual past...ermmm...in the future. (Time travel gives me a headache when I think about it too much.) I wonder if it will give us at least a glimpse into his life as a Time Agent or those missing two years. I'm not looking to get it all in one shot, but opening some questions about it would give me hope that it would be addressed at some point in the future of Torchwood.
So, any thoughts?
