My brain is off somewhere on vacation still without me. Dammit! I want to go with it.
I've been forgetting things like crazy over the last week and it's driving me nuts.
Of course, the fact that Sims 2 "Seasons" is now on my laptop may have a little something to do with it. The expansion pack is fun. I'm still discovering various things and playing with the weather controls. I'll post some pics once I can get the freakin' things uploaded. I'm having issues with that lately for some reason.
I finally watched "The Black Donnellys" last night. I reeeeaaally like this show. Not in a fandom sense (though I have plot bunnies for Flack and Danny on CSI:NY after watching), but in terms of it being just a really well written and acted show. It's definitely more violent than most network TV (except maybe 24) but the violence isn't the main point. The motivations of the characters is kind of cool to watch.
Anyway, I totally recommend. (I do predict the 'cest fic with the brothers to start hitting the net in 5...4...3...2...)
ETA: My favorite quote from the episode...

The Irish have always been victims of negative stereotypes. People think we're all drunks and brawlers. Sometimes it gets you so mad, all you want to do is get drunk and punch somebody.
