It's been a weird day.
Nov. 14th, 2007 11:02 pmI had a ton of meetings today and then this woman who used to work in my department came to visit with her baby. *sigh* Here's the thing. I don't think that all kids are evil incarnate or anything, but I have *no* desire whatsoever to ooh and ahh over some random person's baby. I'm pretty sure that whole maternal trigger thing is completely void in me. Not that I mind being with my niece and nephew or my friend's kids, but random kids just tend to annoy me.
Anyway, I am EXHAUSTED to put it mildly. I think my allergies are kicking my butt right now. (Plus I may have stayed up a little late reading "X-Men" last night. *g*)
I'm not only getting sucked back in to reading "X-Men", but I'm REEEALLY liking the Avengers stuff. *sigh* I mean Captain America/Iron Man is pretty much canon. No really. Want proof?

On a completely unrelated topic...My roommate was baking a couple of chickens (to make the dog's food) and one of the Pyrex dishes suddenly shattered in the oven. Has anyone ever had that happen before? It was so weird. Yet another in the long list of reasons for me to avoid cooking.
