So...I've been dragged in, kicking and screaming, to yet another fandom.  I'm refusing to take personal responsibility for this one.  Why?  Just 'cause.

I'm starting to read TS fics.  I'd read a couple in the past, but hadn't really watched the show except a couple of random eps here and there.  My will-power finally succumbed though.  I'm placing at least partial blame on

[livejournal.com profile] castalie  and [livejournal.com profile] nicci_mac .  They keep talking about and writing wonderful TS fic.

So, here's my request.  Can anyone recommend some good TS stories.  I'd also love to read some TS/SG stories.  I know they're out there, but if someone can point me to the really good ones, that would be much appreciated.

Just consider it your civic duty to contribute to my complete slash whoredom.

ah... you too?
::kicks TS plot bunny::

Well, I've read a few crossovers, but nothing that really made any impression on me, so right about now, I'm working my way through rec pages of various kinds.

You might want to check out Destina's sentinel recs -- I've found quite a few good ones that way.

Thanks for the info.

What kind of fics do you like? What squicks you? Do you even *have* squicks? *eg*

Squicks? Me? Actually, about the only squick I truly have is Mpreg. For some reason...I just can't read those.

Anything else is game, as long as it's well written and I can recognize the characters.

My favorite fandom story of all time is 24/7 by Xanthe. It's pretty heavy w/BDSM, I know that throws some folks off...I don't seem to have that problem. *g*

Did I mention, that kinks can be a good thing? Not required by any means, but definitely enjoyed.

24/7 is also one of my favorite series *eg*

All right, then, I'll try to rec some fics. I have to warn you though that very often, my fav' are actually non-con, because my motto is 'the darker, the bette'.

In the meantime, did you already try 852 Prospect Avenue? Because they have a search engine, and you could at least start to find some stories to your liking over there *g*

Plus, the place is *the* archive to check if you're into TS slash, anyway.

I, Alone series, by Sarid. Just scroll down the page.

Pure Spirit by Legion. Actually, Legion's work is just awesome, and she also has nice kinky stories, so make sure to visit her site. I particularly love the Too Hot to Handle series *g*

Homeward Bound by Alyjude. Actually, Aly is one of those BNF's. If you peruse TS, you'll hear about her. I'm not one of her worshippers, but still, some of her stories are among my favorites. Among those, the following :

Ice Polar Caps

The Healer which has a sequel, btw The Boogie Man.

Click, Click

-30-

Silent Night

The Ravaged series by Jayd

Shattered Soul by Montage

The *more* than brilliant Nature Series by Francesca.

The Apache eries by Shedoc.

There're lots of more stories, but I'm starting to feel tired, so maybe that list will be good enough for a start? *g*

Also, I think the warnings are always included before the fic, so for the non-con part of the list, you should be warned beforehand.

This is a great start. Thanks. I'll let you know what I think once I get the chance to go through a few.

You're welcome.

I still would recommand you to try the search engine at 852 Prospect because like this you can ask for themes you want to read in particular. I mean, there're more than 3.000 slash over there, so you're bound to find little gems *g*

I still remember the day when I found that archive, I'd really thought I'd died and gone to TS slash heaven! Plus, it felt good when entering a fandom not to have to look for ages for a good archive, I practically found that one immediately- and see, around three years later, I'm still here *g*

This was the very first TS fic I read and I totally loved it! Its called Out of Whack by Bone and I think the character voices are fantastic.

You get used to the lurid yellow background quite quickly - LOL
