This is the first draft for the latest FNF Challenge on the AlphaGate Yahoo group.  It's unbeta'd still, so I'm not posting it there quite yet.  If anyone would care to beta it...that'd be lovely.  Just let me know.

Notes:  This fic was a multi-muse inspiration.  The main inspiriation, of course, was the challenge.  The phrase "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
