Every new episode of this show gives me new reasons to LOVE it.

First, there's the sibling rivalry with Kate and Tony. I'm sorry, but you can't convince me that there's sexual tension between those two.

Second, while the plots aren't exactly Chekov, they're interesting and can keep ya guessing in parts.

Third, there are new layers revealed about the characters each week. Tony for example. On the surface he's comic relief, but the writers chose not to leave him at that. He's smart, a great investigator, and he's got a thing for the classics. He's got that whole Magnum P.I. thing with equating cases to old movies. I always loved that in Magnum P.I.

My loves for the ep...

Tony finally getting recognition for doing a good job. The sheer terror on everyone's face when McGee spilled Gibbs' coffee. McGee actually drinking Gibbs' coffee. Kate's jealousy at Tony getting everything right and the recognition. The reference back to Voss was pretty funny too. I also love how Gibbs always fights back the smile when he pops Tony upside the head. It's soooo foreplay.

Favorite Line:
Abby: You're getting sneakier as you get older.
Gibbs: Better looking too.

Absolutely no argument on that one!

Tony looked quite incredibly hot in the black t-shirt and sunglasses too. Though I am becoming quite fond of the 'hickey-hiders' aka turtlenecks that he's fond of.

I have to say that the continuity on this show is quite outstanding. There's the whole Ari thread that keeps coming back up. This was also evidenced with the Meat Puzzle episode. This is what makes me confident that the shadowy figure will be returning as well.

I watched the eyeball ep with Karen last night. Mark Harmon is like a cross between Jack and Daniel, only a Daniel mostly with the Coffee fetish. I could see RDA playing Gibbs (when RDA gave a damn about his job), too. I was so tired, the plot actually lost me here and there, but the dialogue was snappy, the characters big and bold and fun...no WONDER you guys are talking about it. And here I thought it was just another Fashion Forensics show like CSI: Town of Your Choice full of awkwardly shippy scenes that have no place in a place of death.

And THEN, to top things off, she handed me a M.UNCLE zine she bought at a con that's just FULL of slashy goodness.

Off to read, talk to you later!
