General observation for this season so far:



Is it just me or does it seem like the old Gibbs/Tony vibe is back this season? Gibbs seems to be taking Tony out to the scene with him more and it feels like they're back on the same wavelength again.

Maybe the whole shipboard assignment did them some good as a couple. *g*

At the end of last season the new NCIS director split the team up. Tony got assigned to an aircraft carrier and was there for a couple of eps.

I agree! I think maybe they were still dealing with Gibbs leaving, but the team being forcibly separated made them realize how much they still loved each other. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it. *g*)

And Tony at the end, that smile? How slashy was that?

OMG! I loved the continuity of Tony picking up Gibbs' award.

I just feel like Gibbs is much more comfortable around Tony this season. Even the little comment that Ducky made about Gibbs knowing what it's like to deal with someone with narcissistic tenancies.

The past 3 eps or so have felt VERY slashy.

I see it too! The looks at each other, the talking about each other to other people.

Yes, yes, it is back and it is good. My NCIS bunnies have come back from vacation and are well rested and ready to make me write fic.

I think I've missed it a lot more from Gibbs side even though it was really both of them that had backed off the looks, etc... I think that's why I notice it more with him this season.

I LOVE that it's back. It feels like my old show again.
