I have a shiny new cell phone. It is made of complete win. It plays music, it has all sorts of cool applications, it even counts how many steps I take (and subsequently how far I walk) in a day.

In other squee, I will be leaving for London in just over 72 hours. I'm packing right now (which not as squeeful) and trying to keep the amount I take down to what I absolutely need. I keep telling myself that I do not need to take my entire wardrobe for 12 days. I keep weighing to make sure I'm far enough under the weight limit to get extra stuff while I'm there and not have to pay on the way back.

I'm actually looking forward to the UK weather. It's freakin' hot here right now (high 90's again today) and some cool weather will make for a nice change.

Okay, back to packing and cleaning.

I know that packing thing goes - I'll be doing the same in less than a month and a half -- and I tend to repack who knows how many times -- and it seems everyone is more or less going to the UK this year XD

Clearly it's the place to be this year. :D I am a little sad that I'll be skipping my normal Canada trip this year though. Maybe come winter I'll go for a few days.

You'll need lots of room for tacky souvenirs. There are cheap laundromats everywhere, so getting your clothes washed easily, if you don't want to spend a fortune on the hotel laundry.

I've scaled back to the essential pants (one skirt, though I'm not sure why) and lots of long-sleeved t-shirts and a couple of sweatshirts. I think I should be good weight-wise there and back.

I know I'm going to want at least one t-shirt and sweatshirt when we're in Cardiff and probably while I'm in London too. (I never used to be a sweatshirt person) I also have to get a Shaun the Sheep while I'm there. My friend is a sheep fan.
