Even after a hiatus Flack still makes me all fluttery.
Inspired by his return and
stellaluna_ I've decided to do a couple of "Top Five" lists.
Don Flack - CSI:NY His snark is a thing of beauty to behold. He's not so hard on the eyes either. As much as I enjoy the characterization throughout CSI:NY, Flack is one of the better written characters. He has this awesome balance of tough cop and all around good guy. And again, the hotness doesn't hurt. I also love all the hints that we've been getting that he's not such a closet geek. (Even tonight with the Star Wars reference...hee!) He's also finally getting his flirt on over the past season.
Michael Garibaldi - Babylon 5 Again with the snark love. I fell in love with him first season of the show, but I really went head over heels when he has the black velvet Daffy Duck hanging on his wall. *g* Garibaldi is a broken character with flaws. I tend to have a pretty big weakness for this type.
Josh Lyman - The West Wing Josh is smart, funny and self-destructive. What more could a girl ask for? "Noel" is one of my favorite episodes of TWW. The fact that I can still remember the title of the episode (I suck at that) says something. Josh has this amazing passion that works to his detriment at times, but he still barrels through full steam ahead. I loved watching him with Leo especially. It was both a brotherly and father/son relationship at the same time. The episodes where Josh got shut out absolutely broke my heart.
Ianto Jones - Torchwood WAIT! It's not all the superficial hotness and Welsh vowels. I SWEAR! More so than Gwen or any of the rest of Torchwood (even Jack) Ianto is the glue that holds them together. He gets the team from point A to B, he acts as confident when needed. We get glimpses of his actual depth in various episodes. He can clearly be devious when he needs to and he can be a complete bad ass as well. He has a dry sense of humor that just makes me giggle like a fiend.Plus he looks good in a suit...or out of a suit. I'm hoping against hope that his expanded role carries into the next season of TW.
Mike Logan - L&O Mothership and L&O:CI *siiiiigh* He was really the template that made me fall for Flack and most of the other guys. I really see Flack as a younger, less jaded version of him. They even have a similar fashion sense. *shudder* Mike is a smart-ass who has mellowed only slightly with age. He still remains the king of all snark though.

on 2008-04-03 02:54 pm (UTC)I've been watching lots of L&O:CI reruns lately. I kind of like his latest in a long line of partners. She's as much of a loose canon as he was when he was younger.
