I got a response from the guy who runs his Website (if you're not on the Yahoo group for John Barrowman, I would highly suggest joining) and he said he put in an email to John's management and is waiting to hear back. So no confirmation or denial yet. I tend to take a lot of stuff on UK "news" sites with a huge grain of salt. They end up being about 1/4 true most of the time.
I'm just hoping that if he is on the show that he'll be on it while Max Beesley is still there. Them on the same screen...GUH!
