When I was re-watching 'Abyss' for the thousanth time last night, I was reminded of a quote from one of Naquib Mahfouz' novels...(can't for the life of me remember which one)

"A single beat from the heart of a lover is capable of driving out a hundred sorrows."

Seemed appropriate for Jack and Daniel.

I have an extremely angsty fic in the planning stages that Abyss is a part of...sorta. So I've been watching it for research purposes. I'm still not getting tired of it though.
