Nov. 14th, 2009 07:05 pmTales of the Gold Monkey to be released in US on DVD. I *loved* this show. I know that it will totally be dated on re-watch but I don't care.
For those of you who are too young or never watched the show it was a DPB series in 1982 that lasted for one season. It was set in the 1930s in the South Pacific. I was beyond in love with the show when I was young.
I'd forgotten how much DPB's shows formed my young television years. BSG and Black Sheep Squadron were probably my first 'must watch' shows. Then came Magnum, Tales of the Gold Monkey and eventually Quantum Leap. Air Wolf sorta fell in there too.
