May. 7th, 2009 08:39 pmSo I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to proceed with Dreamwidth in the long run. At this point I'm cross-posting and leaving comments open on both DW and LJ. I may end up locking the LJ post to comments and direct folks over to DW, but I'm still on the fence about that.
One thing I do want to make VERY CLEAR. I have imported all of my posts to DW including the comments attached to those posts. I have no plans of deleting those comments or changing them in any way. They are a part of the history of my journal which I wish to keep intact.
I consider my journal not only the place where I put my ramblings, but also a place for conversations with others (RL Friends, OL Friends, acquaintances, trolls, what have you). It doesn't matter where the journal happens to reside. I'm sorry if some folks are uncomfortable with this, but my journal, my rules.
