I think I'm a bad Comic Fangirl
Apr. 30th, 2009 07:04 pmI've been a Marvel and X-Men girl since I was in Jr. High. I won't say exactly how long ago that was, but Jean Grey had only come back from the dead once at that point. :)
I do want to see the new Wolverine movie. I'm all kinds of excited about it. The problem is that I'm WAAAY more excited about going to see Star Trek. I'm not even really a Trekkie girl. Sure I watched TOS and the subsequent series, but it was never what I would have considered one of my fandoms.
I can't help it though. The movie just looks so DAMN COOL. I passed the premiere in Hollywood on the way home and I was wishing I was there with all the pointy-eared folk and squee'ers.
So, anyone in L.A. interested in going next weekend? My roommate has dropped hints about us going with a friend of hers, but I'd really rather go with someone who will actually ENJOY the movie.
