Ziva's homecoming to Israel with Gibbs leads to a tense reunion with her father, the enigmatic and powerful head of Mossad. As this delicate situation escalates, Gibbs is forced to make a decision that sends shockwaves through NCIS.
Okay, so for some reason Gibbs has to accompany Ziva back to Israel. Why? Possibilities are that she was injured or that Michael was killed and he wants to help Ziva take the body back (I'm banking on Michael being a red shirt at this point) OR Ziva is suspected of being a spy for Mossad and Gibbs goes back to try and straighten things out.
We do know that Ziva's father still believes that Gibbs killed Ari. If the writers don't use this somehow...well that will pretty much be my end point for the suspension of disbelief.
Oooo!!! What if Ziva's father decides to charge Gibbs with Ari's death? That would mean that Gibbs would be forced to either tell him that Ziva killed Ari (which I don't think he'd do) *or* face charges.
I'm curious how this will play into the Tony/Ziva stuff that's been promised.
I will say that I was hoping that someone other than Gibbs would have a more prominent role in all this. Yes, he's the lead character. But really, can't we have big stuff happen that isn't about him or his soopersekrit past?
So...thoughts, rants, holes to poke in my ideas??
