I like that we got some insight into Vance. He's one of those wonderfully gray characters where you're not quite sure which way he's going to jump.
I like that he told Gibbs to hang on to the file "to keep him honest". That shows a level of trust I wasn't sure they had between them.
I also like that Gibbs rubbed Jenny's actions in Vance's face. Gibbs has been there, done that and had to clean up after.
Interesting that Vance and Whozit (can't remember the dead guy's name) apparently switched identities (to some extent). This is a huge theme for the series and suddenly we're seeing one that's worked for years. I suspect this isn't the last we've seen of this.
And finally... once again, the slash just writes itself while the het, as set up by the former hooker married to a mob boss, is just creepy.
