Such a busy weekend.
Nov. 25th, 2007 02:39 pmHad friends come for Thanksgiving evening unexpectedly. It was fun but very busy. Friday was spent cleaning, shopping and reading more comic books. There are seriously not enough hours in a day.
Last night went to see the play "Atlanta" at the Geffen Playhouse. It's a musical set in the Civil War (No
crimsonquills, not that Civil War *g*). It was co-written and co-directed by Adrian Pasdar. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. There were small pieces that I'd probably change for storytelling purposes, but overall it was good. The music is by Marcus Hummon who has written songs for various big name Country acts, including the Dixie Chicks. Leonard Roberts was in it as well. He has a nice voice (on top of being hot).
Adrian Pasdar was there last night as well. He's quite skinny in person. I'm not sure the beret he was wearing helped that at all. *g*
Couldn't sleep when I got home (too cold) so I watched the "Captain Jack Harkness" of Torchwood. *siiiiggghhh* I love this episode beyond words. It's a beautiful and sad love story all the way through. Plus we get "stern!Ianto". It makes me sniffle every time.
Is it January yet??
