Comment Fic Updates

I've posted the first reply to the prompts post I'd put up last night. I'm steadily trying to beat my brain into submission.

I'll add links to the updates to this post once I get them up:

Go you! Comment fic can be damned hard--every time I offer prompts, at least one ends up too long for a comment--but it's satisfying, too. It's getting to finish something, and trying something that you wouldn't otherwise, I think.

Thanks. I'm forcing myself not to go back and re-edit the fic right now. It's like this endless loop that I get into of wanting to tweak etc... I think the good thing about the comment fic is that I can just put it out there and let it go rather than obsessing over whether it's good enough or not.

*nods* They don't really quite feel like they count as real fic, so there's a lot less pressure. Which is what we need sometimes!

That's actually exactly what I need right now. Even if it's not perfect it's enough. Plus the more I do the more I know that I can post a fic and the world won't come crashing down.
