I knew there was a reason I never read her stuff.

You know how there's real life stupid and then there's internet stupid?  I think Laurell K. Hamilton has surpassed them both.

She wrote this post on her blog about famous folks who had passed away recently.  She goes on about "Jason" Pollack and how his artwork impacted her or some such shit.  Pretty sure that she's referring to "Jackson" Pollack.  Except that he died, you know, DECADES ago.  Now I'm wondering if she even has a clue as to who "Sydney" Pollack (the guy with that last name who *did* pass away recently) was.

*sigh*  It's one of those things that made me laugh my ass off and shed a little tear at the same time.

Okay. Maybe this explains why her books suddenly started to stink like a huge stinky thing? *g*

well, that would explain her idea of, *cough* literature.

But... but... I'm mourning Jason Pollack too. *one perfect tear*

That is HILARIOUS. I notice she has comments turned off. Probably a good idea. heh.

He helped define the modern era. But he was someone I admired from a distance. There is power in his art, but it captured my mind, not my heart. Art touches you in different ways. Some of it goes for your emotions, for me Pollack's art hit my head, not my heart, but you couldn't look at his art and not have it impact you somewhere. His passing, seems to diminish things.

Wow, that bit broke my brain. All I can say is, thank god for editors, otherwise her books would be unreadable. Er, more unreadable. Perhaps she should hire someone to proofread her blog entries as well.

Oy.

And thus the quote was reinforced: Silence is golden.

Oh, LKH, she's not going off the cliff, the cliff is about 20 miles behind her and she's spinning around in the air like Wile Coyote.

oh.

I thought maybe you were exaggerating or something. HAH. And then I clicked on the link.

MY GOD, woman! (By “woman”, I mean of course Laurell K. Hamilton.)

THAT IS HILARIOUS.

Wow! Now I need to go tell my friend (huge LKH fan) that her girl is special in the head. And this once again proves to me why I don't read her novels. Read the first couple pages of one and almost swore off books altogether!

OMG that is too much!

No wonder I lost interest in her books.
