This was actually going to be a "I'm going to sit and bitch about work and fannish stuff and you're going to like it!" post, but I've decided to just post happy things instead.

- I have new bookshelves arriving soon. I'm redecorating and they are the next step in my master plan of awesome.
- I have new yarn. I got my hair done on Sunday and the yarn store is next door. It's really a no win situation.
- I'll be heading up to Vancouver in a week and a half for my birthday. SQUEE!

- I will be able to gorge myself on sushi and WoW and comic books and yarn!
- There's an excellent chance that the Canucks will be finishing or have won the Stanley Cup when I get there!! SQUEEE!
- There will be booze consumption, TCBY and movies in various quantities.
- I can ~~force feed~~ help catch certain folks up on H50 episodes for the rest of the season which they have not viewed yet.

Wow. Vancouver is going to be a busy 4 days!

Speaking of 50-ish stuff...I'm going to be putting up a poll (now with ticky boxes) later to gauge the interest in Fan Awards for 5-0 and if folks would like to participate.

Ah, so jealous of your bookshelf! I need to get another one soon -- my room looks like an explosion of books.

And SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE for the boys winning the Cup and bringing it to Stanley for the first time. Damn, if they did I'd be tempted to rob a bank and be there for the victory parade.

Do you ever go to that sushi place in the food court at the Pacific Centre? That was my kids' introduction to sushi. Eldest loved it, and can we get it here? Nah.

I think having fan awards for 5-0 would be a fine idea, but I think I said that already.

I didn't hate the finale as much as I thought I would. I was a bit meh with the Danny/Rachel but the rest of it made sense and I don't mind cliffhangers :)

Well Canucks have to win Game 5 tonight to move onto next round and this is when the games become more scattered because NBC owns rights to the Stanley Cup Finals so they will be played at night. And it looks like if they beat the sharks tonight and the bruins beat the tampa bay lightening that is the final two for the cup. I wouldn't mind if they won because there is one Ryan Kesler who is from Michigan and from the city I live in and his parents are still here and be great he brought the cup back here.

And yes be great to see the Canucks win it all! Hopefully you get there and there is a party going on and not in Boston. But guessing fans there would still throw the canucks a heck of a party for going as far as they have but getting so close to the cup is a heartbreaker.

I'm semi-recently into H50 (i've got 1-2 eps left to watch) and was wondering if you knew of any good fic comms? Or where to find fic in general?
