Why a spell checker is a good thing. A story in pictures.

I'm still mentally processing the latest episode of Doctor Who so I'll comment on it later.

So on my way home from work each night I have to transfer buses in the Valley. Every Friday night there are war protesters who picket on the corner diagonal from the bus stop. They've been out there for well over a year now (possibly two).

Within a few weeks of them starting, a counter group (of a husband and wife team) showed up and started carrying signs. I'm just going to say that the guy's signs lean waaaaaaaaaay to the wack-a-doodle side most of the time. These are pretty 'normal'.

My reason for posting this though, I was wondering if he actually used a spell check device of any sort before printing his signs. I'm guessing no.

On the bright side, he really has convinced me that I need to carry my camera around with me at all times. Though I have discovered that my phone camera takes pretty awesome pics too.

Hee. Oh man. I see these people all the time. I noticed the "ban Canadian oil" sign for the first time last night and did a full-on boggle at that one. They make trying to go to Trader Joe's more entertaining than it really should be.

I think it was new last night. He does that weird little walking thing in the crosswalk with his signs.

*hee* You and I have probably been in line at Trader Joe's at the same time at some point.

Yes. That. Which always makes me cringe, because I'm waiting for the inevitable moment when he gets creamed by someone barreling too fast down Laurel Canyon.

Or for the moment when relations between him and the people across the street break out into all-out turf wars.

Hee. I bet we totally have been. That's the nearest one to me, so it's my go-to.

ENDPORSES?

This makes me want to drive into the valley RIGHT NOW.

DOGS! So happy and smiley.

PS: are those pictures from your camera, or your cell? They're so clear!

The three from the Valley are from my camera, the one of the dogs is from my cell. I tried using my cell for the sign one, but it has this weird thing about the zoom.

All the shots of the dogs are waaay happy and smiley. They knew they were heading out somewhere. We're going to the beach again tomorrow morning so I'll try to get shots again.
