Tim Russert dead at 58.  He was one of the few journalists that I've always felt maintained his integrity no matter what.  He also made politics interesting in a non-salacious way.

This is so sad.

I still can't believe it. I'd met him a few times at various occasions in Buffalo over the years he was just genuinely down to earth. The bulletin broke early here, because of our proximity and I rushed to find out on the internet but there was nothing. I new the local affiliate would probably have something on the five o'clock news, imagine my delight when they devoted the whole half an hour to him.

The saddest part is he leaves his father, who is in his late eighties and his high school priest who is ninety one behind and grieving.
