Confession Time...

I may have recently purchased two DVDs for the sole reason that Carmine Giovinazzo is in them.  I haven't actually watched them yet, because I'm afraid they're going to be horrific.  Still...I've seen others on my flist do this for David Hewlitt and Michael Weatherly and the like.

I'll have to get back to you this weekend and let you know how they were.

One is Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie which also has the added bonus of starring David Krumholtz.

The other is The Learning Curve .  I'm pretty sure that it's going to be reeeallly bad, but it cost me 6 dollars.  

There are other movies he's in that I'm considering.  I've added them to my Netflix list to give them a try out there first.  I may end up having to purchase them anyway, depending on how cute he is in them.

The terrifying thing about doing this is that unknown films are quite often unknown for excellent reasons.

I know. This is why they're still sitting in their packaging.

I keep finding other things to watch instead. Such as the CSI:Miami DVDs from Netflix which I am still blaming you for with the whold David Caruso thing.

I will definitely force myself this weekend though. I'll let you know how it goes.

Aw, being compulsively thorough with an actor's biography is fun! Sometimes, you stumble upon hidden gems that deserved to be cherished. Other times, uh, there's pretty. Yeah. Occasionally only thirty seconds of pretty, but it's there and you feel all the better for it.

Or maybe I'm just loonier than I thought.

*has far, far too many movies with Stephen Rea in them* ... *sees this as not a bad thing at all*

No worries. I have bought loads of terrribly awful movies simply because some actor or other was in it.
