I think my brain feels slightly less pressure with this set up. I think because it's more of a mundane story where the guy Tony meets just happens to wear spandex at night and hang out with superpowered folks on occasion.

*nods* I totally hear this. Adventure type plots have this need to move forward in a coherent and measureable way, and it's easy to get stressed out by feeling behind.

I think it may actually help get my head into writing the DCU a bit better.

Makes sense to me! Plus having more than one project means you can work on one or the other depending on what you're in the mood for, instead of feeling you HAVE to write such-and-such, and then not writing at all because you aren't in the right mental place.

Plus there are so many similarities with Dick and Tony that I can't not do it.

Oh, it should definitely be done. *g* I ask only so that I may adjust my anticipations. :-D
