Geoff Johns = 5,256,452, Webbgirl's Willpower = 0

As I've mentioned numerous times recently, I'm a major fangirl for Geoff Johns.  I think he's a great writer and kind of awesome all the way around.  I'm even braving Hall H for the first time in my attendance history to go see the "Green Lantern" movie trailer.

So via Twitter today I found out that the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is auctioning off a lunch with Geoff Johns to take place during Comic Con.  Guess who the current high bidder is?  *waves*

So part of my brain is saying "Someone else will totally bid an outrageous amount and it won't happen.  Prepare yourself."  The other part of my brain is saying, "HOLY CRAP!  I may actually have to worry about what I wear to Comic Con one of the days!!!! HOLY CRAP!!"

Yeah.  Not sure if I'm rooting for me to win or freaking out more at this point.  There's also another possible downside.  The lunch would be on Friday at the same time as the "Big Bang Theory" panel.  Don't get me wrong, lunch with Geoff Johns wins that showdown every time, but that's the one TV panel I really wanted to go to this year. 

Yeah, total first world problems here.

OMG, that's awesome! Because I love you (and because I want both Patrick Gleason art and beefcake!Guy art from Joe Phillips), I won't bid against you. *grins*

I figured since the artists I really want something from aren't doing AA this year, this could be my splurge item. When I mentioned on my personal Twitter account that I was considering bidding, I got a message back from Geoff Johns "BID ON ME!" How do I not???

I do want to check out Joe Phillips booth again this year though.

It is almost impossible to turn down a direct request from Geoff Johns. Also, I went to the auction page and saw the picture of him. It must be the first picture of him I've seen, because I startled by the fact that the man is hot. Yum!

Joe Phillips does prints, which is a wonderful, wonderful thing. :-D If I have enough money left over from Patrick Gleason, I'm going to commission Guy beefcake from Joe. *g*

He is MASSIVELY hot. I remembered thinking that when I saw him in the Blackest Night panel last year. I think that may have nudged me a bit more into reading the GL stuff. :)

Now here's hoping that if I do win, I don't make a complete fool of myself. :)

I have Emerald Green fingernails and toenails now. :D They're my contribution to dressing up for the GL panel.

Ooo...Joe would do a great beefcake Guy. :)

I'm (probably) doing SPN this year. I normally wouldn't hesitate, but the schedule is showing a severe lack of Misha. We'll see what his Twitter says.

If I do go, though, I'll be going early. This year, it's not only after Smallville but before Glee. Doooomed.

I saw somewhere (maybe on Twitter) that Misha, both J's and Jim are going. Don't know if that's official or a rumor though.

Geoff Johns is moderating the SV panel so I'm thinking I may sit through that too.

Oooooh. See, if that was the case, and Misha will probably tell us if he's going (usually under the guise of recruiting us as organ donors for Somali orphans), that would totally be worth the wait.

I think if we're going, we're going to sit through Smallville too. Last year, we barely squeaked into the Smallville panel and barely moved forward once SPN started. I expect it'll probably be pretty busy.
