It's funny, as folks have been talking about the balance between goofy and competent through this post, the first person I thought of was Jack.

I think part of my reason for going back and rewatching all of the early episodes recently is that I want to see that Tony that I fell for as a character in the beginning.

I'm tempted to do episode posts about his character as I watch the early eps, but I'm not sure my brain is up for that level of meta at the moment.
