webbgirl | One additional observation of "Some Buried Bones"

So I have a theory on Mac's uncomfortableness with this particular hug. Granted, he's not the most touchy feely guy in the world, but he did hug Danny in "Run Silent, Run Deep". I think part of the awkwardness of this hug was due to the fact that Reed was hugging Mac as much to comfort Mac as much as he was seeking comfort. From what we know about Mac's character, I don't think it's a stretch to say that he would be uncomfortable being the one who needed support rather than the one giving it. He's the one that everyone leans on and in his mind, it isn't supposed to be the other way around.

Just a ponder.
