Because I'm a million years behind everyone else

I finally watched Heroes last night.

Okay, I'm liking the show.  I need to go back and watch the other eps.  I think it helped that Adrian Pasdar was in it a lot last night.  There are many, many things that I'm willing to sit and watch for glimpses of him.

I feel a bit lost since I've only seen chunks and pieces of other eps, but I like that there's a whole underlying mystery and the comic book aspect is fun.  Plus Greg Grunberg is always fun to watch.  I'm thinking I'll be giving it a try from here on out.

Also viewed last night? CSI:Miami aka How can we get viewers to mock us?

As many of you know, I'm willing to put up with a lot from CSI:Miami.  For whatever reason Horatio Caine has this weird pull on me.  Plus I enjoy the eye candy, which is really what the show is.  The "OMG!Cringe" or  "Point and Laugh" moment last night was when Horatio drove an SUV with a ticking bomb in it out to the beach (nice that there was absolutely NO TRAFFIC) and then calmly got out walked away and put his shades on as it exploded.  The topper?  As he's walking away he says "Burn baby, burn."  WTF?

I know that all of the CSIs are notoriously bad with puns, etc... but this was just O_o.

In bouncy news, I had a great time playing Sims last night while watching.  Sadly though I know that there is no way my lappy can handle the Pets expansion pack.  I do have plans for Ralph II though.  It will have to wait until after BASCon, but I'm going to be getting an HP this time.  We get a good deal on them through work.  The one I want is going to run me about $1500 total.  Not cheap, but not bad for all the bells and whistles (including built in web cam) that I'm getting.  Plus it's pretty and black.  It will also be able to handle all of my Sims2 games.  YAY.

Ahhh! At least it's not me stalking you this time. Now I'm going to be all self-conscious when I sit there. *g*

I just couldn't believe how over the top cliche CSI:M got last night. I find it amusing until I think about the fact that they're probably not trying to poke as much fun at themselves as I think they are.
